Quick Note:

Please note that regardless of whether you consider yourself African-Black, Caucasian-White, Spanish, Native American, South American, Asian, Indian, Middle Eastern or other, the best way for you to use Wild Growth products should be decided by the qualities of your hair alone. For instance, if you consider yourself non-African and have dry and tangly hair, then the appropriate method of using Wild Growth products for you may be in the instructions for 'African Type Hair' ( finer hair will, in any case, use less product). If hair becomes too oily, use less or follow the instructions for non-African type hair.  If hair becomes too heavy or sticky from Wild Growth® Hair Oil, add Wild Growth® Light Oil Moisturizer to thin out and lubricate to desirable consistency. Also, adjust amounts of oil to desired feel and look. If too oily, oil usage can be reduced to even a few drops without sacrificing hair growth  and protection effectiveness because Wild Growth® Oils are energized to work even in small quantities! But bear in mind that some (if only a little) oiliness is necessary to make sure the hair and scalp are properly fed. The following 'rule of finger' will help you achieve that goal:

Sparingly but thoroughly apply to hair and scalp. Your hair and scalp should have, as a result, some oiliness but not enough to run down your scalp, face or neck. After a couple of hours, it should penetrate where the oiliness is slightly noticeable. Use less the next time if oiliness is more than slightly noticeable in the two days following application. If your finger, after touching hair and scalp, is bone dry (meaning not any bit of shine or oiliness on it) before two days go by after the application, use a little more during the next applications until you can always see at least a little (not a lot -except immediately after application) bit of oiliness on your finger tip (after touching hair and scalp) between applications.

You should apply more for heat styling such as blow drying, flat-ironing or using curling iron, or sitting under dryer.

Wild Growth® Complete Hair Growth System Steps

Begin 24/7 cycle:

Universal (all hair types) Step 1: With shampoo or co-wash to protect from chemical attack and feed growth. Mix in 5-20 drops of Wild Growth® Light Oil Moisturizer into each application of shampoo or co-wash.

Universal (all hair types) Step 2: Leave-in after rinsing to protect from wet-dry cycle damage/breakage. Apply 5-30 drops of Wild Growth® Light Oil Moisturizer to hands and evenly spread across wet hair and scalp.

Universal (all hair types) Step 3: On Damp/towel dried hair. Apply 5-120 drops of Wild Growth® Hair Oil alone  (optional: may combine with a small amount of Wild Growth® Light Oil Moisturizer) to damp/towel dried hair before combing, brushing, braiding, blow drying, pressing, curling and/or sitting under drier.

Detailed Step 3 for predominantly African quality hair:

20 drops of Wild Growth® Hair Oil  for each quarter section of medium length (adjust amount to more or less if longer or shorter) hair. Easily detangle, brush, or comb through.
Braid hair once oiled (exception: very short hair or dreads- oil hair, dreads, and scalp), and sparingly apply along scalp parts across entire scalp directly from pointed bottle spout.

Then choose following options:

Option 3a: Leave in braids as protective style.
Option 3b: Unbraid and comb or brush through. Can finish drying under low temperature drier for classic Afro look
Option 3c: Unbraid and blow dry (medium temperature setting) for straight blown out Afro.
Option 3d: After blow drying, proceed to press (medium temperature setting) for  super straight/compact look.
Option 3e: After pressing, proceed to curl by applying curlers (curling lotion optional) and sit under drier (low temperature).

Detailed Step 3 for predominantly non African quality hair:

Option 3a: 5-20 drops from finger tips throughout entire damp/ towel dried hair and scalp. Comb or brush through every 3-5 minutes until hair is dry.

Option 3b: 5-20 drops from finger tips throughout entire damp/ towel dried hair and scalp. Blow Dry or use other heat styling method.

Universal (all hair types) Step 4: In between washings on dry hair and scalp to protect growth, maintain moisture, restore/refresh softness, body and shine.

Detailed Step 4 for predominantly African quality hair:

Scenario 1: If hair has become frizzy or puffy (due to water, sweat or water humidity exposure) re-apply Wild Growth® Hair Oil alone (optional: may combine with a small amount of Wild Growth® Light Oil Moisturizer).

Scenario 2: If hair or scalp have become dry re-apply Wild Growth® Light Oil Moisturizer alone (optional: may combine with a small amount of Wild Growth® Hair Oil.

Scenario 3: If hair/scalp becomes wet (rain, swim, sweat, etc.) re-apply Wild Growth® Light Oil Moisturizer alone to both wet hair and scalp

Detailed Step 4 for predominantly non African quality hair:

Scenario 1:

If hair  requires more body/composure, apply 5-10 drops of Wild Growth® Hair Oil to dripping wet hands and spread evenly across hair and scalp, starting with thickest part of hair first. Lightly brush or  comb through every 3-5 minutes until hair completely air dries and 'sets' with body and luster (little or no oiliness).  Later, conditioning can be re-activated between washings just by rubbing wet hands through hair (no product is used) and combing or brushing through every 3-5 minutes until hair completely air dries and 'sets'. May also combine with Wild Growth® Light Oil Moisturizer, to regulate, color, stickiness and odor. Applications can be skipped if hair becomes unacceptably oily.

Scenario 2:

To minimize breakage Add  5-10 drops of  Wild Growth® Light Oil Moisturizer for best hair breakage control to wet hands and rub hands together. Then rub hands first into most dense sections of hair. Then continue rubbing in progressively sparser areas.  Lightly brush or  comb through every 3-5 minutes until hair dries.

Scenario 3: If hair/scalp becomes wet (rain, swim, sweat, etc.) re-apply Wild Growth® Light Oil Moisturizer alone to both wet hair and scalp.
